The old bathroom lacked any design elements. It was mostly white and had inexpensive
materials all throughout the space. We kept the white theme for a minimalist luxury
aesthetic, while making changes in the materials and design. One major change was
converting it from a bathtub to a shower area.
Large-format marble-look porcelain tiles for both the floors and walls, creating a
cohesive and expansive look. The centerpiece is a floating marble sink. A half-glass
shower door keeps the layout visually open, while brushed gold fixtures bring a
layer of richness and continuity with the kitchen. The full-width backlit mirror
enhances the ambient light and expands the perception of space.
With the newly renovated space far different from the apartment building’s original
design, our client felt both relieved and fulfilled. Her home no longer blended in
with the rest, but stood out as truly her own, shaped by her personal style and
vision. What was once a generic apartment is now a space that feels genuinely her
home.
